A Reason for Giving Thanks

During this upcoming holiday season, we should take time to remember the gift we have been given in the wonders of this world. Scenes like this sunrise at Mesa Arch in Canyonlands National Park are in danger of being spoiled by the efforts of people in power who seem not to care about this Earth. Please take the time to call your Representatives and Senators to oppose the 2006 Budget bill as it is currently written, as it will force the Federal Government into a massive sell-off of public lands without any consideration to their value; the current budget also calls for massive cuts to the needy at a time when more and more people are falling through the cracks of our society.
